In February 2012 we had a very pleasant day with our guide Annette. She picked us up at our hotel exactly at the marked time. As we had agreed to make a different tour than any other guide offers we started in direction of Grumari to know that marvelous beach there. Annette showed herself a safe driver and passed her way competently through the heavy traffic. On the way to the beach she explained a lot of things about the city, the country, the population and many other things. She didn`t leave a single question unanswered. But apart from the fact that she is an excellent guide she is very relaxed and lets the time pass entertaining. After the beach we went to the Parque Burle Marx, the most beautiful botanical garden we had ever seen. After lunch we headed for the Corcovado with the statue of Christ the Redeemer. There on top of the hill we had a magnificent view of Rio. We enjoyed very much the day and are sure to do another tour with Annette as soon as possible.
